Garrido 002 sees a darker side of House and Bass music. Founder, Albert Axe, ensures the imprint maintains true to it's principles of creativity outside the comfort zone of the artists involved. The second artist of the label, Rakoto, is also introduced in track 2 of the EP.

Red (feat Rakoto) - 125 bpm

"iKapa" brings an aggressive approach to the EP with off-time kicks, dark vocals and 808 progressions. Without doubt, it is the more experimental track off the EP, with a peculiar mixture of sounds and approach to the structure. Although "iKapa" is the more bass-orientated song, it still holds its roots in House music.

For "Red", Albert Axe teamed up with good friend Murphy Mayoub (aka Rakoto). Although not much is known about Rakoto, he released his debut EP towards the end of 2013. The combination of sounds from Albert Axe and Rakoto allows for "Red" to be refreshing at times and still create an impact on the dance floor.
